The photo was taken mid-afternoon whilst on my Mindarie coastal walk. Seeing (I believe) one of two Ospreys is not uncommon and a photographers delight to have one flying overhead. The camera used was a OM-D E-M1 Mark 2. Shutter speed 3200 on continual AF.
Here’s a photo of an Osprey that I took a few days ago, on the Sunshine Coast, using a Sony A7R3 + 100-400mm telephoto lens with the settings ISO640, 1/2000s, f9 and 240mm.

One of my first ever bird photographs and I managed to stumble across this Osprey feeding on a very recent catch of Mullet.

Captured this pic while my partner and I were fishing the Mulgrave River south of Cairns. It was a difficult shot to get as we were in our tinnie. Wasn’t even sure if I had got a decent shot of it in flight until I loaded it onto the computer.
