This was easy as the bird was quite tame and used to humans but still lived in the wild. I was eating a banana and the bird spotted me as it walked along a track and I got the camera ready, but it saw the banana skin hanging out of my pants pocket and was getting too close so I pushed the skin where he could not see it and he backed off. He then attacked the chrome bulbar of a nearby 4wd, kicking at his reflection in the chrome. This was in Etty Bay in N.Q. A great experience to see these birds(there were 3 of them including a young one) up close and personal.
