This guy was at the Gloucester Tree at Pemberton WA. Like many people too chicken to climb the tree, I ascended a couple of steps and posed for the missus to take a photo, the Rosella was right there and eye height so I proceeded to take shots of him, the light was extremely low and at an ISO of 1250 I was still down to 1/100 of a second shutter speed, hand held, balancing on the rungs of the ladder, many of the shots I took were blurred as the bird moved around but luckily this one was ok. I like the shot because of the different pose of the bird.
